Duncan McLean announced as judge for the Landscape Institute Awards 2025
We’re proud to share that Duncan McLean, Director of Landscape Architecture at LUC, has been selected as a judge for the Landscape Institute (LI) Awards 2025.
The LI Awards celebrate the exceptional work of landscape professionals in connecting people, place and nature. Each year, the judging panel is made up of experts from across the sector, and we’re delighted to see Duncan recognised among them.
Duncan brings over 20 years of experience in landscape architecture and urban design, with a particular focus on sustainable placemaking and transformative public realm projects.
His selection as a judge highlights both his technical expertise and his long-standing commitment to creating people-centred, environmentally responsible spaces.
Duncan is no stranger to the LI Awards, having previously received several accolades over the years. Most recently, in 2022, he accepted the LI Place Regeneration Award and the LI Health & Wellbeing Award on behalf of LUC for the Claypits project in Glasgow, recognised for its positive impact on both people and place.
